Outfit & Style Guide

What you choose to wear is a big decision that often causes some stress beforehand. However, my hope is that with a little education, you will be able to determine the style and feel you desire for your shoot which will make your outfit selection so much easier and less complicated!

What's Next?

Leading up to our session, I'll be reaching out to schedule a planning meeting. Then a few days before our session, I'll check in again...at that point, if the forecast is questionable or someone seems to be coming down with the flu, we can talk about our rescheduling options. Otherwise, that's the perfect time to ask any last-minute questions!

DAY OF THE SESSION

On the day of the session, please block off 2-2.5 hours. Typically, we're done within 90 minutes or so, but I don't charge by the hour, so if there's any kind of issue at our location, I like to stay flexible. The session is a strictly stress-free time!

FAQ

Safety

You assume all responsibility for your horse and any other subjects during the session, including any and all destruction to personal, business or public property, personal injury or illegalities.

Be respectful of your horse and their behavior and disclose any behavioral issues before the session.

I reserve the right to terminate the session and leave the location of the shoot if I experience inappropriate, threatening, hostile or offensive behavior from person/s or pet/s, or in the event that my safety is in question.

What if it rains?

We will try our best to hold our session at the agreed upon date and time, but we all know what Texas weather is like! We can absolutely reschedule for a better date..

What should I expect from a typical photo session with you?

We'll meet right before Golden Hour. This is when the most magical light for photography happens - during the last two hours of daylight.

Once we start I will guide you along the entire session and give you prompts to encourage natural interactions and behaviors from your horse. I might make weird noises from time to time to get their attention and for certain poses.

Do you photograph more than 2 horses in a session?

Yes I can. I always bring an assistant to help. If you’re horse isn’t a fan of new people (I get it!), I recommend bringing a friend along to help.

Can anyone else join in?

Yes, within the same household. In the interest of minimizing distractions, I do ask that only those who will be in the photos come along.

Do you offer payment plans?

Yes, I can work with you and spread out payments weekly or monthly. Payment plans will be agreed upon during booking. A minimum deposit is required and maximum payment plans duration is six months. Orders are fulfilled once final payment has been received. If you decide to discontinue your payment plan, funds are non-refundable.

How far do you travel?

I am based in Fort Bend County and will travel throughout the greater Houston area. Travel fees may apply for distances over 25 miles.

What happens after the session?

Photos will be delivered 2 to 3 weeks after our session. After our session you will receive a link to a beautiful online slideshow where you will be able to sit back and view the slideshow in the comfort of your home. Photos can be purchased via collections, prints, albums and wall art are available for purchase in your online gallery store!

Privacy Policy

I understand that privacy is a concern for some of my clients and do my best to balance any concerns you may have with my own need to market my business, much of which is necessarily done online. I usually share somewhere between 1 and 3 images from a session online -sometimes more, sometimes fewer.

Guarantee

I'm happy to say that 99% of the time, a little preparation on your end and a lot of experience on my end result in a set of photos you will absolutely adore, but I understand that there's no way for you to know that until you have them in your hand. If you're not happy with the photos from your session, I will make it right, whether that's by refunding your session fee or reshooting the session. 100% Guaranteed.
