Running a one-person business isn’t always easy—especially when that business is rooted in something as personal as telling your story through photographs of the animals who mean the most to you.
Every time I sit down to write one of these blog posts, I imagine I’m sitting across from you at a quiet coffee shop. Not in a “buy now!” kind of way, but more like, “how are things with you?” and “can I tell you something that’s been on my mind lately?”
Because let’s be real—there’s already enough noise in your inbox and on your screen. What I hope to offer is something different: a moment of connection, a glimpse into the quieter stories that matter.

“Wait… Who Are You Again?”
If you're new here or if this is your first time landing on my blog, hi—I'm Kelly. I’m a Houston-based dog and horse photographer, and I specialize in capturing images that feel real.
Honest.
Quiet.
Like the kind of love you can’t always put into words, but you know it when you see it.
I photograph dogs and horses, yes—but more than that, I tell stories about relationships. The kind of stories that last. That matter. That make you pause and feel something true.
But not everyone remembers signing up for emails or even following my work. Some folks get every email I send. Others have my notes vanish into spam folders until, one day, Gmail remembers I exist.)
So in case you’ve forgotten how we connected, or you're just stopping by for the first time, let me reintroduce myself.
A Few Things You Might Not Know About Me
💡 I’m left-handed
💡 I’m an Enneagram 5—the Learner
💡 I live with three rescue pups: Winston, Harriet, and Toby
💡 My reading goal for 2025 is 100 books (I’m at 31 so far!)
Beyond the camera, I’m a curious soul. I love getting to know people—what lights them up, what grounds them, and yes, what their pets' names are.
