Step 2: Session Day!
Each session will take approximately 15-min, not including walking time. Plan to arrive early - approximate walking time is 10-min.
I'll send you a detailed guide on what to expect and how to prepare for your photo session at the Christmas tree farm.
Step 3: Order Your Images
A few days after our session, you'll receive a gallery first-look. Use this preview to help you choose the image collection you like best.
Each collection contains digital files and a complimentary print credit for use in my gallery store. Choose from a selection of holiday cards or framed prints to display in your home!

How do I know where to go?
About a week before our session date, I will send you an email detailing the tree farm location, parking instructions and a map on where to find me. Be prepared to walk about 10 minutes to get to our photo spot.
Please arrive 10-15 minutes early to allow for time to park and walk to the photo location.
What kind of shoes should I wear?
The Tree Farm is not a park. In some places, there might be tall grass, fire ants, stumps, and holes. Sandals are prohibited, you MUST WEAR CLOSED-TOE SHOES.
What if it rains?
We will try our best to hold the session at the scheduled date/time but we all know how changeable Texas weather can be. In the event of bad weather, you will be notified 4 hours prior to your session time. Every effort will be made to reschedule in a timely manner but PLEASE NOTE, this may mean we might have to reschedule for a weekday.
Do I need to do anything to prepare for my photo session?
If possible, please exercise your pup before the session. He'll undoubtedly be excited about the new place and new experience, and it will help if he's already burned off some extra energy.
Consider you're dog's "outfit" and bring a clean, regular flat collar and basic leash. If you have a holiday outfit you would like in the photos - bring it too!
Do I need to bring anything to the session?
Poop bags.
And if your dog has a favorite treat or toy, bring it! I always carry a stash of treats, but if your dog is picky or has dietary restrictions, please bring something that she loves! Tiny pieces work best.
Bringing some water for your pup is also a good idea too!
Can My Dog Stay on Leash?
Yes that is preferred for the dog's safety. Thanks to the magic of Photoshop, in most cases the leash can be removed entirely from the final images.
What about harnesses?
I can't guarantee that I'll be able to remove a harness or gentle leader from your final image. If your dog usually walks in a harness or gentle leader, I recommend using it to walk to the session and swap it for a flat collar while I photograph.
Can my family/children be in the photo too?
Absolutely! Family members are welcome!
When will I receive my images?
You'll receive a link to your gallery about a week after our session.
Can I order additional prints or Christmas cards?
Yes absolutely! You can order directly from your online gallery. Items will be shipped directly to your home.
