Having a Photo Session At Your Home

Many dogs, especially older or ailing senior dogs, feel most comfortable in familiar surroundings like their home. When working with dogs for Legacy Sessions, I prefer to come to them rather than cause any undue stress by transporting them to an unfamiliar location.

Recently, I had the pleasure of photographing not one but two sweet old souls in their family home in Houston.

Gus

Gus is a 17-year-old lab mix. Rescued from the BARC shelter at a young age, he has lived the life of luxury ever since! He's a beautiful old boy who might be a little hard of hearing but that doesn't stop him from being the first to show up when the treat bag is opened!

Siska

Siska is a happy 13-year-old pup who loves hanging out in her backyard. Her sight is not as good as it used to be but she knows her backyard well! During our session she explored and wandered around making sure there were no squirrel interlopers!

Interesting in having a session at your home? Don't worry, you don't need a River Oaks Mansion to have beautiful photos of your beloved dog or cat. As a professional photographer, I can work with you to find the best spaces with the best light - even if we have to move that chair over a few feet. Ready to get started planning?
